It is now used by the Municipal Theatre of Nafplio and for art exhibitions. One of the most attractive towns in Greece, Nafplio is a maze of medieval narrow paved streets, a harbor lined with palm trees and imposing fortresses. From 1829 to 1334, the town was the first capital of liberated Greece.
