The 14th century Byzantine monastery. The monastery has a tranquil cloister and courtyard lined with monastic cells and two storeyed abbots' quarters. The monastery structures which were originally built by the Knights of St John were all realistically restored by the Italians during their occupation of Rhodes in the early 20th century.
There are also the foundations and column fragments of the 4th century BC Doric Temple of Athena Polias.
