The hill is also home to the Palazzo del Quirinale which is the residence of the president of Italy. Away from the hill top, the maze of cobbled alleys end up leading to a variety of famous sights and historical churches that are architectural masterpieces. The area is also home to many shopping galleries and ornate fountains and celebrated landmarks including Rome's most famous and most beautiful landmark, the Fontana di Trevi where tourists make a wish and toss a coin into the romantic fountain whilst eating a gelato.
